General Guidelines and Policies
We’ve established the following guidelines to help ensure your safety and enjoyment while in our park and the same to our other guests. Those who choose not to observe these guidelines may be asked to leave our park without any form of refund.
Sorry, These Aren’t Permitted:
- Personal golf carts are not allowed. No battery-operated vehicles, motor-driven cycles, bikes, or scooters are allowed. Exemptions are made for guests with a disability. Must have a handicap placard and be able to show proof of insurance.
- Fireworks
- Firearms – This includes BB guns, Airsoft, and pellet guns.
- Metal Detectors
- Drones – For safety purposes, we do not allow drones to be flown in our park. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- Vehicle Repairs (including oil change, etc.) of vehicles and RVs are not permitted in the park. You may check the local listings for businesses that provide these services.
Firewood
Firewood is not permitted to be brought into the park. We have wood for sale in the Ranger Station.
Pets
Pets are welcome at Jellystone Park™ Columbus North.
- Pets must be leashed at all times.
- Please pick up after your pets.
- Please limit pets to two (2) per site.
- Pets are allowed to swim only in the creek.
- Leaving pets unattended at the site is prohibited.
Please read the below guidelines as they vary by accommodation type.
Cabins or Lodges
Let us know that you’re bringing a pet and we’ll book you into a pet-friendly cabin or lodge, subject to availability. We charge a $25 non-refundable cleaning deposit per pet per stay (2 Pet Limit). We do not charge a pet fee for RV sites. Unfortunately, if your pet persuades you to sneak him or her into a non-pet cabin or lodge, you will be liable for $300 in cleaning charges.
RV Sites
Two (2) pets are allowed per site. While there’s no charge for having a pet stay with you in your RV, please do not leave your pet unattended outside or erect any type of fence or pen around your site.
Tent Sites
Sorry, pets are not allowed on tent sites.
Aggressive Pets
If your dog shows behavior that is protective and unfriendly to strangers, please leave it home. If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this type of behavior, the owner or management of the park will ask you to please find other camping accommodations.
Parking
All vehicles must be parked in your site and on the gravel. No parking in empty sites. Additional parking is at the Ranger Station, if needed.
Speed Limit
Please observe the posted 5 mph speed limit and One Way directional signs. Be cautious of children playing.
Bicycles
Children must wear a bicycle helmet at all times while riding in the resort. Please obey all traffic signs, including One Way directional signs.
Quiet Time
11 PM – 8 AM
If you are staying up during quiet hours, please refrain from excessive noise and wandering around the resort. Please remember that we are a family resort and that appropriate language, behavior, and attire must be maintained at all times.
Site Occupancy
Only one (1) RV or Tent is allowed per campsite (excluding group tent sites). Campsites (RV and Tent) allow for a maximum of eight (8) people per site. Maximum occupancy for cabins is the maximum number of people they are rated to sleep.
Tent Policy
We offer water and electric tent sites and group tent sites. These site types are the only sites in the park that will allow tenting. Tents may not be placed on Cabin Sites or other undesignated areas.
Smoking
We do not allow smoking in any buildings on our property, including cabins. If you smoke inside our lodging units, cabins, or rentals, you will be charged a one-time cleaning fee of $250.
Safety After Dark
To ensure all our guests’ safety after dark, please carry a flashlight with you.
Trash and Garbage
We now offer curbside pickup of all bagged garbage 8am – 11pm. Please place all garbage in designated dumpsters after 11pm. Charcoal is to be dumped in the fire ring at your site or cabin.
Ground Disposal
Ground Disposal of any drain water (gray or black) is prohibited by state law. Waste water from RVs (including sink water) must be disposed of into sewer drains. Do not put grease down the sewer.
Sewer Connections
Sewer connections are required by state law and must have a tight seal by a sewer donut (or sewer ring) or a screw-type connector.
Photo and Videos
Entrance to Jellystone Park™ constitutes permission for the Management of Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resorts to photograph and/or video-graph the visitor and all his/her guests while on the premises and to use pictures/videos for lawful purposes without credit or acknowledgment to the visitor.
Your signature, provided at your check-in, gives Jellystone Park™ Columbus North, its assigns, licensees, and legal representatives the irrevocable right to use any picture, portrait, image, video, or photograph in all forms and media and all manners, including composite, for advertising, for publication or any other lawful purposes. You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, including a written copy, which may be created in connection therewith.
Swimming Lake, Pool, and Water Zone Areas
No Lifeguard is on duty. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult (18 years or older). Anyone behaving in an unsafe or destructive manner will be removed from the pool area. Only bathing suits permitted in the pool, no cotton material permitted (i.e., cut-offs, t-shirts, etc.).
Fishing License
A fishing license is not required to fish in our private lake. However, if you choose to fish in the creek, an Ohio fishing license is required.
Visitors
Visitors may purchase a Day Use Pass and are required to check in at the office upon arrival. Guests must leave the property by 10:00 PM.
Bookings
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Cash. Sorry, no checks.
Check-In / Check-Out
RV and Tent Campsite
Check-In: 2:00 PM; Check-Out: 12:00 PM
Lodging
Check-In: 4:00 PM; Check-Out: 12:00 PM.
If you intend to arrive before your check-in time, please notify our office. We will make every effort to have your campsite available. However, we cannot guarantee its availability until Check-In. We ask that you honor our Check-Out time promptly to minimize hardship on our housekeeping staff and the next arriving guests.
Deposit
Reservations are paid in full at the time of booking.
Minimum Reservation
During Peak Season, there is a TWO (2) night minimum reservation for all campsites. Holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day) require a THREE (3) night minimum reservation.
Site Lock Fee
When booking your reservation, we will assign you a Cabin or RV Site based on the type you selected. If you want a specific Cabin or RV Site, and it is available, you can reserve it with a $25 Site Lock fee. This fee is non-refundable.
Refunds
Sorry, no refunds for early departures. At Check-In, we honor the period of time you requested for your campsite or lodging unit. Camping is an outdoor experience, and accordingly, we do not offer refunds due to the whims of Mother Nature.
Cancellations
*Reservations may be revised up two times before forfeiting the entire reservation cost.
Campsites
We will return your deposit minus a $30 service charge if you cancel EIGHT (8) or more days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel SEVEN (7) days or less of your arrival date, your full deposit is forfeited.
Lodging
We will return your deposit minus a $30 service charge if you cancel FIFTEEN (15) or more days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel FOURTEEN (14) days or less of your arrival date, your full deposit is forfeited.
Holidays
We will return your deposit minus a $30 service charge if you cancel THIRTY (30) or more days before your arrival date. We do not refund holiday deposits on cancellations made TWENTY-NINE (29) days or less of your arrival date. Please make sure you schedule your holiday reservations carefully.
No Shows
Guests failing to contact us to cancel their reservation (within the required time listed above) will be considered a “NO SHOW.” “NO SHOWS” are subject to the same cancellation policies.
Refusal of Service
The Management reserves the right to refuse service, limit the length of stay and the number of persons or vehicles per site, and/or evict any person or party without refund. Park staff are not allowed to work on guests’ RVs or other personal equipment.
